I started my radio journey as the English Newsreader on Kiss FM Algarve with an experienced DJ running all the technical side. I never thought I’d find myself presenting a two hour show all on my own. It was a daunting prospect but then I had the happy thought of inviting guests in to talk or perform and sometimes a co-presenter.

It’s fun and always interesting. We’ve had a great mix from Dame Vera Lynn , Dave Rowntree and Margaret Watson with an 8ft harp to an 8 year old entrepreneur and a troop of Beavers..all are welcome.

Simply Redhead is an informal chat show with music and local information from 3-5pm on Wednesdays .. if you have something to tell us about or would like to perform do join me ..
