“Jacqs enjoys a wide range of music, and grew up in a home where classical music was often listened to with great enjoyment. As a child she was fortunate to be taken to a variety of performances including the London Emmanuel Choir, The Sound Of Music and quite a lot of Gilbert and Sullivan!

She carries with her a happy childhood memory of being captivated by the Burgess Hill Amateur Dramatic performance of HMS Pinafore.

 

As time has passed her musical appreciation has expanded and she now enjoys a rich variety including jazz, country, road trip rock and the occasional eighties power ballad.

 

Jacqs has been the very grateful recipient of the outstanding care provided by the NHS here at the Princess Royal Hospital and is delighted to be able to gift back by volunteering with the wonderful team at Mid Downs Radio.”
