PAST EVENTS

On Sunday 2nd April Gary (and the OBU) and Poppa Roy turned up at the Broadway, Haywards Heath to be the leading mic presenters for the 2017 HH Bike Ride. Hundreds of bikers and the public were entertained by music and live groups to encourage them on their way.   This event earned MDR £150 on the day.

Good Friday, 14th April meant the HH Lions Swimarathon at the Dolphin Swim Centre, our annual team exercise!  Six of us swam our hearts out for an hour and raised a total of £900 Sponsorship!  Half will go to Chailey Heritage’s DREAM ROOM Project and £450 for MDR.

Congrats. To Cathy, Paul, Jo, Jenny, Poppa Roy, David Hammond and help from Mike Oliver!

Robbie Randall and Wendy scored and cheered us on.

Easter Monday, 17th April, saw us at a new event, the Annual 8 Bells Bolney, Pram Race. Gary and Wendy shared the honours with Bolney regulars, including ’Posh Bob’, to entertain the crowds who turned up.  MDR was sponsored by Mrs. Stevenson Clark of Borde Hill, who donated £100.
